Melt Bar & Grilled hosts Hiring Fair on September 6-7 for new Independence location

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Melt Bar & Grilled, a Cleveland favorite for gourmet grilled cheese sandwich creations, will host a Hiring Fair from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 6-7 at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South, 6001 Rockside Road in Independence.

The fair will welcome new employees to the Melt family for the third Melt location, opening Oct. 7 at the Liberty Commons shopping center at 6700 Rockside Road in Independence.

Melt’s previous Hiring Fairs have seen great success, with hundreds attending and interviewing for spots at Melt. The newest Melt location will employ about 50, from servers to kitchen staff.

“This is always an exciting time in the process of opening a new Melt location,” said Melt owner Matt Fish. “It’s the people who really help make Melt what it is. And we’re glad we can be a part of the economic growth of the Cleveland area by offering 50 new jobs to the region.”

This summer, Melt has been recognized by a plethora of grilled cheese lovers, including PETA, who praised Melt’s “Kindergarten” grilled cheese sandwich as a top vegan choice, “ESPN The Magazine,” which named Melt one of the top 10 best sports bars in the country, and “Field and Stream” Magazine, which featured Melt’s Lake Erie Monster walleye sandwich in a full-page spread.

Melt also recently unveiled a new website at www.meltbarandgrilled.com—a place for everything Melt, from rave reviews to the story behind the popular restaurant chain to an online store for dedicated Melt aficionados. The new Melt site is a central hub for all three Melt locations: on the Eastside at 14718 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood, on the Westside at 13436 Cedar Road in Cleveland Heights, and opening soon in the South at Liberty Commons on Rockside Road in Independence.
