CLEVELAND, OHIO— Spring is springing and Melt Bar and Grilled is celebrating with delicious gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, tasty seasonal sides and desserts, and awesome beer and cocktails. 

March welcomes a new Starters & Snacks item, the Spectacular Starter Combo, featuring fried mozzarella wedges, mac & cheese bites, fried pickles, battered chicken tenders or fried buffalo tofu with ranch, basil marinara and southern herb remoulade for dipping. It’s perfect for sharing among 2 -4 diners. The Melt Pierogi is also available this month, and features Ohio-produced potato & onion pierogi, sautéed onions, fresh-made vodka kraut, shredded cheddar & sour cream. 

Four awesome grilled cheese specials are offered this month, including Parmageddon, made with potato & onion pierogi, fresh-made vodka kraut, sautéed onions and sharp cheddar, and now available vegan; the Parmageddonator is grilled kielbasa sausage, potato & onion pierogi, fresh-made vodka kraut, sautéed onions and sharp cheddar; General Tso’s Delicious Manchu Dynasty Melt, tasty crispy fried chicken slathered in General Tso’s sweet & spicy sauce, crisp broccoli egg foo yung, rangoon-style cream cheese, muenster cheese, sesame seed garnish; finally, the Potato Bacon Bomb, made of thick-sliced golden fried potatoes, roasted garlic & chive mashed potatoes, crisp hickory bacon, creamy sour cream & scallion sauce and sharp cheddar. 

March’s Classic Sides include:

• Kung Pow Broccoli / roasted broccoli, spicy kung pow sauce, crushed peanuts V, VG
• Crispy Cajun Potatoes / crispy redskin potatoes, flavorful cajun sauce, scallions V, VG 

CinnaBOMB! Bread Pudding is March’s featured dessert, made with homemade cinnamon roll bread pudding served warm with a rich cream cheese frosting then topped with vanilla icing, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, real whipped cream and cinnamon sugar.

 Melt Bar and Grilled owner and founder Matt Fish will be participating in Cuyahoga Community College’s third annual “Small Bites, Big Dreams” scholarship fundraiser, Thursday, March 5 from 6p – 9p. The event supports Tri-C culinary students’ tuition needs and is meant to showcase the college’s role in training participants in Northeast Ohio’s culinary industry. Start planning for the Melt Bar and Grilled Independence Bi-Monthly Pinball Tournament is Thursday, April 16th. All players are welcome for a progressive knockout style pinball tournament, one of the most fun and popular styles of competitive flipper pinball. All skill levels are welcome and all players and their guests receive 20% off all bar and menu items. The tournament is officially registered with the IFPA (International Flipper Pinball Association) and there will be a raffle, prizes and surprises! The tournament is presented by Melt Bar and Grilled and Kidforce Pinball.
