Cleveland Heights Melt Bar and Grilled Location to Close Permanently. “It’s been 10 great years in Cleveland Heights,” says Melt Bar and Grilled owner Matt Fish, “But with our lease expiring at the end of 2020 and the uncertainty and challenges of the pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close the Melt Cleveland Heights location. This was our second Melt location and was received with lots of excitement and enthusiasm. The location, at the corner of Cedar and South Taylor, near the Cedar Lee Theater, University Circle and great museums, fit our concept perfectly and really helped Melt transform from a funky neighborhood place that served gourmet comfort food and great beer, to a true restaurant group.
We loved being a part of the Cleveland Heights community and want to thank our loyal Melt fans – we have cherished the last decade and thank you all for your support! All other Melt Bar and Grilled locations throughout Ohio are open and doing well during these times. We are currently assisting our landlord in Cleveland Heights with the search for a new tenant.
